Ray & Lisa Pyle

Owners

Ray and Lisa took over Allen and Associates in May 2008 and started Catlin Properties, Inc.  In 2015, they rebranded the company to CPI which now encompasses:  Residential & Commercial Property Management, Maintenance, CPI Electric and CPI Construction.  Ray and Lisa have enjoyed watching the company grow and especially the growth of their fabulous employees.

Grady James Pyle

Grady came to work for CPI after a stint in the clink. Finding he was not well suited to rogue life he adopted Ray and Lisa Pyle as his parents. Due to a paperwork snafu, he was called Brady while in lockup. After settling in at his new home it was soon revealed his name was Grady James Pyle. About a year and a half after the adoption, Grady encouraged his parents to move out of town so he could have more area to roam. A five-acre lot was agreed upon and Grady soon assigned himself leader of the neighborhood. This skill translated well into his role at CPI.

One of his top two responsibilities is to supervise the office team and greet guests that come through the front door. While never achieving any formal education, Grady’s natural ability and intelligence have served him well. Grady enjoys monitoring what the neighbors are up to, running off the rift raft and playing with Baby Squirrel. 

Douglas Blum

Doug is a life-long Kelso resident and joined CPI in March of 2022. One of his favorite things about working at CPI is the diversity of his job, having a hand in everything from building design to working in the field on construction projects. Outside of work, Doug loves spending time with his family and playing bass with Alex Blum and the Roadside Quartet!

Tara Kastner

Designated Broker

Tara is originally from Minnesota and joined CPI in January of 2010. She has been in the Property Management field for nearly 25 years. One of her favorite things about working for CPI is the family feel around the office and every single day is new and different. We get to spend our days with our office pup, Grady!

Gayle Sims

Gayle was born and raised in the Pacific NW. She joined CPI in April of 2013, and went from full-time to semi-retired in 2020. One of her favorite things about working at CPI is the people, definitely the people. Gayle tries to travel every year with family!

Melanie McMaster

Melanie was born and raised in Kelso, WA. She joined CPI in 2018. One of her favorite things about working at CPI is the amazing bosses and the amazing Grady. Melanie has over 16 years of experience in Property Management, and she loves it!

Michele Brownlee

Billing Agent

Michele has been part of the CPI team since April of 2021. The support she has received during her time here is the best part of CPI. When she is not at the office, she spends her time with her two kids and husband, being involved in her church, and looking for new things to make in the kitchen!

Brandon Brownlee

Brandon has been a part of CPI since 2020. He started off as the maintenance manager and took on that role for two and a half years. Catlin then created CPI Electric, and he began managing that company. CPI is a great place to work, the owners are real-life, down-to-earth people that care about their employees. I spend my spare time on my full-time family of one beautiful wife, one teenager and one three-year-old. Then in my spare-spare time I enjoy playing the piano and studying various scientific things.

Kari-Ann Botero

Assistant Property Manager

Kari-Ann has lived in Longview/Kelso WA her whole life. Kari-Ann joined CPI in 2023. Her favorite thing about working at CPI is meeting new people that come in or call with something different every day and enjoys her co-workers. When Kari-Ann is not working she enjoys spending her time volunteering in a variety of different service groups and spending time with her family and friends.
